This week’s prayer requests

Psalm 100:5
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

We pray to know and be centered in the goodness of God, remembering and believing that in Christ all things hold together. As a new season of ministry, service and groups starts up, we pray that peace, encouragement and connection will be present.

We pray in thanksgiving for the ability to tell the children in our lives the stories of the Bible and ask for the guidance and wisdom to demonstrate in love with our lives the belief we hold in their truths. We pray for encouragement for all the adults in our community that the stories will become fresh and deepened in their lives, with the understanding that God's Living Word is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, holding all generations together.

We pray for the courage, conviction and skill to tell our own stories of faith, remembering in gratitude those who may have shared theirs with us. We pray for family members who have struggled with how to witness to those dear to them and humbly ask for gracious words as we live in the tension of loving and waiting for God's goodness to be received.

We pray to worship and give thanks in all circumstances, remembering that this is God's will for us who belong to Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18).
