This week’s prayer requests

Ps.  116:1-2  "I love the Lord because He has heard my appeal for mercy.  Because He has turned His ear to me, I will call on Him as long as I live."

-  Praise God for the obtaining of permits and earthmoving equipment at the carwash.  Ask God for His leading for the use of that space and a blessing on the conversations that will be had concerning it.

-  Thank God for the gift of His Son to us, for the suffering he endured on our behalf, and His redeeming, grace-filled resurrection.

-  Pray that the Holy Spirit will help us to truly grasp what deep, deep love Christ has for us as we process the messages given to us on Sunday mornings during this time "before the cross and resurrection."

-  Pray for our children as they hear the Easter story in Kids Alive, that their hearts will be formed to trust and believe in a living Lord.

-  Ask God for a renewed spirit for our Pastors as they work during this busy season.  Pray that God will help them in the organization of time to accomplish what they need to.  Ask God to use the words of others and from the Word to encourage them.

-  Pray for all those who are suffering in any way, dealing with illness, loneliness, loss or depression.  Pray specifically for Mel and Linda VanderBie as they continue to battle against Mel's cancer, for Randy and Jill Scholma and their family as they mourn the loss of Randy's dad, Hi.  Ask God for healing for Linda Holt who was admitted into the hospital on Monday morning with pneumonia. Ask God to watch over all those in transitions of any kind. Pray that God's presence will be felt in tangible ways, that He will provide comfort, strength, healing, hope and love for all.
